SOUTH-CENTRAL, Ind. – The National Weather Service in Indianapolis says a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for south-central Indiana and most of the Hoosier state from Friday at 4 a.m. until Saturday at 4 a.m.
The Winter Weather advisory includes the counties of Bartholomew, Johnson, Jackson, Jennings, Shelby, Decatur, Brown, and Morgan. Snow is expected with total accumulations between two and four inches.
Roads, bridges, and overpasses will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes.
The higher-end snowfall totals will be more focused towards south and southeast portions of central Indiana with gradually lower amounts towards the northwest
