COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Area Visitors Center is launching a free digital marketing education program for local businesses.
This innovative initiative is designed to equip Columbus area hotels, accommodations, restaurants, and other local businesses with the latest marketing tactics.
The goal is to help businesses realize their full marketing potential, contributing to the overall success of Bartholomew County as a destination.
Participants will receive training on the latest digital marketing trends, practical applications, and hands-on tutorials, enabling them to attract more visitors and boost their business.
TwoSix Digital, an agency specializing in destination marketing and tourism-related businesses will lead the educational program via a series of online training opportunities.
Columbus Area Visitors Center Executive Director Misty Weisensteiner said, “Local businesses are the heart of our community. Their success directly impacts our destination’s vibrancy and appeal, and we think this is a great opportunity to support them.”
Recognizing that many small business owners may not have the resources to invest in marketing education, the Columbus Area Visitors Center will cover all training costs for local participants. This ensures that every local business has the opportunity to enhance its digital marketing skills and thrive in today’s competitive marketplace.
Weisensteiner added, “By partnering with TwoSix Digital, we are providing our local partners with the expertise and resources they need to thrive, all at no cost.”
The first online webinar in the series, Must-Do Marketing Tactics for Small Businesses, is on September 16, at noon.
Local businesses interested in enhancing their marketing skills and contributing to the Columbus area’s collective success are encouraged to register to join this free program. A recording of the training is available to those who can’t attend.
