COLUMBUS, Ind. – Community members seeking assistance with food, housing, clothing, utilities, or other social services will soon be able to find all the necessary information in one location.
United Way of Bartholomew County (UWBC) launches United We Help this Saturday, June 1. Unitedwehelp.org is a comprehensive website connecting users with crucial health and human services information. The site will serve as a one-stop shop for all the help available in Bartholomew County.
The site will also connect those in need with UWBC’s direct-service programs, such as Covering Kids and Family. It will be the community’s most updated and comprehensive resource guide.
“When someone needs assistance, they need it immediately. This site ensures our neighbors have the basic information they need when they need it,” said Mark Stewart, President of United Way of Bartholomew County. “As the hub of our community’s social services, we created this site to empower people to access the resources they need to reach their full potential.”
Visitors to the site can search for the assistance they need and text the information to themselves for future reference. The site also hosts the Bartholomew County housing guide, and the Help is Here printed brochure.
