SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Seymour Police Department (SPD) responded to the 2000 block of E. Tipton Street on Thursday evening about a vehicle accident.
Officers arrived just after 7:30 p.m. and discovered that a car had left the roadway while traveling west on E. Tipton St. and struck two parked vehicles.
They checked on the male driver and found him unresponsive. Officers began life-saving measures until emergency medical personnel got there. The man was then taken to Schneck Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. He was identified as William I. Miller, 54, of Norman.
The cause of death is pending an autopsy and toxicology.
SPD was assisted by the Seymour Fire Department and Jackson County EMS.
